I have spent a copious amount of time trying to obtain enough knowledge and handcraftsmanship to explain nature in a true visual sense. I want us to feel as if inside the painting or part of the surroundings, yet still be able to see its brushwork, and constructive strategies, from a technical standpoint.

Even on a conceptual level this is true to me, a replication of nature, fractal, polar. The method in itself has become a key component in trying to mediate the extremes as a natural order of mother earth. And the only way I do so, is to be out there with her, devoted, part of her. Listening and observing, let go, in order to inform whatever on God’s green earth it is that my work is meant to reveal.
